WIKION

Privacy Policy

July 2026

WIKION respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your email address and public profile name from the provider. We use this information solely to create and manage your WIKION account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law or to operate core services (e.g., Supabase for authentication, Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics — only with your consent).

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time — see our Data Deletion page.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. For security we also use a device signal to prevent abuse (for example, limiting free attempts). We do not use advertising cookies. Optional analytics, if any, run only after you accept them in our cookie banner — you can decline, and essential features will keep working.

If you accepted in the banner, we use PostHog, a product analytics service. It collects anonymised events: which pages you opened, which buttons you clicked, whether you completed the test. We also enable session recording — a technical record of interface actions (navigation, clicks, scrolling). Input fields are masked in these recordings: your email, password and other data you type are not stored, and the payment page is not recorded at all. We never send your name, email, answer texts or speech transcripts to analytics — only an anonymised account identifier. Declining in the banner disables both analytics and session recording.
