Dreams and Ambition

Honestly, as a kid I was dead set on becoming an astronaut. I had this glow-in-the-dark solar system stuck to my bedroom ceiling, and I'd lie there for hours convinced I'd walk on Mars one day. It sounds a bit far-fetched now, but back then it felt completely within reach.

These days my dream job would be something creative but with real impact, ideally designing products that make people's everyday lives a little easier. I love the idea of building something from scratch and then watching actual people use it. For me, that mix of creativity and usefulness is the sweet spot.

Yeah, I'd say I'm fairly ambitious, though not in a cut-throat, elbow-everyone-out-of-the-way sort of way. I always set myself little goals and I genuinely hate the feeling of standing still. That said, I try to keep it balanced so I don't burn myself out chasing the next thing.

Oh, completely, more times than I can count. As I mentioned, I was obsessed with space, then I went through a phase of wanting to be a doctor, and now I've landed somewhere totally different. I think that's pretty natural, though, because the more you experience, the better you understand what actually suits you.

Of course, who wouldn't? But I've come to realise it's less about one big dream magically coming true and more about chipping away at it bit by bit. For instance, I've started taking small steps towards mine already, and honestly that steady progress is half the fun.
