Parks, Gardens and Green Spaces

Yeah, we're actually pretty lucky on that front — there's a decent-sized park just a five-minute walk from my flat, plus a handful of smaller green squares dotted around the neighbourhood. It's not exactly a leafy suburb, but for a city area I'd say we're spoilt compared to most.

Oh, absolutely — I practically lived at our local park as a kid. My friends and I would spend whole afternoons climbing the frames and playing made-up games until it got dark, and honestly some of my happiest memories are from that little patch of grass.

Not as often as I'd like, to be honest, mainly because work tends to eat up most of my week. That said, I do try to head out for a stroll on Sunday mornings whenever the weather plays ball — it's my way of clearing my head and switching off from the screen for a bit.

All sorts, really — you'll see people jogging or walking their dogs, families having picnics on the grass, and older folks just sitting on benches soaking up the sun. It's one of those places where everyone kind of does their own thing, which is exactly what makes it so relaxing.
